Matra Training for European Co-operation (MTEC)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands provides under the MTEC Academic Programme full scholarships for students and young officials from the new EU member states, candidate and potential candidate countries and some of the Eastern and Southern neighbours of the enlarged EU. The Programme is administered by Bureau CROSS, a Dutch governmental organisation for educational co-operation between the Netherlands with Eastern and Southern Europe.

In 2008 scholarships will be offered for the following fields and universities:

• Public Administration at the University of Twente - deadline for application 1 July 2008;
• European Studies at the Maastricht University - deadline of application 1 April 2008;
• Public Health at the Maastricht University - deadline for application 1 May 2008;
• International and European Law (university and application deadline to be determined 2nd half of March).
