Over 1000 Bulgarian children educated under the Dutch methodology Remelka

Over 1000 Bulgarian children have already been educated under the Dutch methodology Remelka and this is a proof for the added value of the bilateral cooperation between the Netherlands and Bulgaria. This was announced today by the Ambassador of the Netherlands Karel van Kesteren at the final conference of the ”Equal chances: Knowledge transfer for integration of children with special educational needs” project.

The project was supported by the MATRA program of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was aimed at improving the calculation and social competences of the children with special educational needs in Bulgaria by introducing the Dutch methodology Remelka.

The participants in the event discussed the results of the project, the experience of the teachers, the prospects before the children with special educational needs and the future of methodologies like Remelka in the country. A special movie, dedicated to the life of children working with this methodology was screened.
