June 3, 2010
“We have developed modern and sustainable technologies, applied
worldwide and I am proud that 12 Dutch companies participate in
this exhibition”, said today the Ambassador of the Netherlands
Karel van Kesteren at the opening of the “Save Energy, Save Water,
Save the Planet” International Conference and Exhibition. This is
the first edition of the event and the focus country is the
Netherlands. The exhibition is positioned in Hall 6 of NDK and will
continue till June 5.
The Holland stand hosts twelve prominent Dutch companies interested
in doing business in Bulgaria, these are: Afvalzorg, Biorock,
Bollegraaf, Gicom, KWT Holding, Lieventum, PB International,
Spirac, Tauw, Trisoplast, VAR and Wavin Bulgaria.
The Netherlands is a leader in technological development and
innovation in the field of environment, water and waste treatment
and processing in Europe. It is an important supplier of
technological items, systems and networks, consultancy services and
additional support in Bulgaria. With our participation in this
event we aim to promote and provide first-hand information about
what the Netherlands can offer in the fields of environment, water
and waste industries, but also to seek opportunities for business
matchmaking.
Besides the stand, Dutch experts from the Netherlands Water
Partnership and the Netherlands Waste Management Partnership will
be among the key speakers at the Conference. There will be two
Dutch workshops organised with the collaboration of the NL
Environmental Agency and Afvalzorg on: Regional cooperation of
municipalities and Sustainable use of former and abandoned
landfills.
The event is organised jointly by Via Expo Ltd. and the Dutch
Embassy in Sofia. More information about the event you can find on
